A Milestone Moment: Agata Reaches 100 parkruns

I started my adventure with running from the Widnes parkrun. I started running regularly and tried to attend every Saturday in this event. I met a lot of great and kind people there, including members of the Widnes Wasps LRC and Clare suggested I join the club.

When I joined the club, I met wonderful people there. I started to run more and complete longer distances and dared to participate in the competition (it was very supportive and the fact that they also took part in the competition).

I have been a member of the club for 3 years. During this time, I did a lot of racing, a dozen half-marathons, two triathlons and two marathons. I did not stop running my every Saturday parkrun and this year I have 100 parkrun on my account.

My friends from the club came to my hundredth parkrun to cheer on me. It was a very exciting day and I had support from my friends,  the best that I could imagine. Wasps is my family.
