CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP – HALF MARATHON RACES
HALF MARATHON RACES
JANUARY | A scenic road race through rural countryside, passing through the Cheshire villages of Dunham on the Hill, Mouldsworth, Manley, Alvanley and Helsby. Accurately measured (certificate number 11/071, measured 2 January 2012), with 170m of climbing.
FEBRUARY | Starting and finishing at the Clubhouse on Wrexham Industrial Estate this classic race is popular with some of the fastest runners in the region as well as those tackling the distance for the first time. It is a well marshalled course with drink stations and excellent facilities at Race HQ.
MAY | With a slightly hilly start the route becomes a largely flat tour of Liverpool city centre, Sefton Park and Otterspool Prom with musical acts at each mile marker.
You'll finish in the dockside arena with a pint, a concert, and one of the blingiest medals ever.
MAY | The Chester Half is one of the UK’s longest established and most highly regarded half marathons, starting and finishing in the historic Roman/Medieval international destination city of Chester. The fast and largely flat city and rural race route will be run entirely on closed roads.
SEPTEMBER | The Half Marathon starts on Winmarleigh Street at the Town Hall. Travelling over Bridge Foot, the Half Marathon takes in aspects of the previous route in South Warrington. The route then heads back into the town centre, taking in Warrington landmarks, before heading back to finish through the Golden Gates at the Town Hall.
